Alright so the blog is back up and running again. It was funny to pull it up and read some of my blogs from last spring. One in particular was about how early the Presidential campaign was starting. At the time the election was still 20 months away, but was yet already a big topic of discussion. Now we are 11 months away and the train has gained momentum. I predict that at this time next year the talk will be all about the 2012 Presidential election. I wish I was joking...
More to come over the next eight weeks. Hopefully I can think of something slightly interesting to blog about.

I am glad to see you will be blogging again. I have had to get all my news from NPR since you have been gone. So as you can imagine, I am really misinformed. Seriously, you are second only to Rush and Hannity.
I look forward to your blogs - you appear to have a great sense of humor and pick interesting topics to address. I also noticed that we like some of the same authors including David Sedaris, his sister, Amy, is funny as well, and some of the same movies. I definately be looking to your posts for up to date info on the never-ending campaigns for president.
Thanks Teresa. David Sedaris is great. I actually went to one of his book signings in Tulsa a couple of years ago. He signed a couple of books for me and he did a reading of some of his new material. It was hilarious!
It is nice to see you will be blogging with the rest of us bloggers this spring. Pertaining to your topic on marriage, I think much of what society expects is right here in the Bible belt. Other than that, I choose not to voice my irradict opinion--except, been there done that!
yeah it sucks that right after the new election we have to start talking about the next one.
